Nature's Sunshine

Conditional on the acceptance of this application
by Nature’s Sunshine Life-Trends (a division of Nature’s
Sunshine Products (NZ) Ltd), the applicant hereby applies
to be a Member of Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends and agrees
that in the event that this application is approved,
the following terms and conditions apply.
1. I agree to abide by Nature’s Sunshine Products
Policies & Procedures as detailed on the website
and in the Policies and Procedures Manual. This applies
to transaction selling or reasonable use. I acknowledge
that Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends has the right to alter
the Policies and Procedures Manual at any time at their
sole discretion and I agree to be bound by and abide
by any changes to the Policies and Procedures Manual
announced by Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends.
2. I acknowledge that my acceptance as a Member shall
only make me an independent contractor, entitling me
to sell products that I purchase from time to time from
Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends. It is specifically noted,
ac-knowledged and understood that I am in business for
myself and that I shall not be in any manner an agent,
employee, or be authorised to act on behalf of or to
bind Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends or any agents, officers
or employees and I will ensure that all persons dealing
with me are made aware of this. As a Member, I will
be treated as self employed and not an employee of Nature’s
Sunshine LifeTrends for tax purposes and I will defray
all my own expenses in relation to my membership. I
will be required to file all returns and reports required
by authorities as amended from time to time. I acknowledge
that the payment of any rebates to which I may become
entitled as a result of the sales of Nature’s Sunshine
LifeTrends products will be determined according to
the business concept as outlined in the Policies and
Procedures Manual as amended from time to time. Nature’s
Sunshine Life-Trends shall have no responsibility for
the payment or any said rebates that are the responsibility
of my sponsor.
3. I understand that Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends
products is not represented as having any medicinal
value and that I am not authorised to make any diagnosis
of any medical condition, make drug-type claims or prescribe
Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends products or represent that
they are suitable to treat or cure disease or condition
of man or animal. I acknowledge that Nature’s Sunshine
LifeTrends products are a food supplement and shall
be marketed by me as such. I understand that in conjunction
with the sale of said products, I am not authorised
to use, quote from or employ in any written or graphic
form any materials not authorised by Nature’s Sunshine
Life-Trends and I shall conduct any advertising strictly
in accordance with the Policies and Procedures Manual
as amended from time to time. I agree to abide by all
laws and regulations of Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends
including the execution and filing of any required documents
in connection with the sale and distribution of Nature’s
Sunshine LifeTrends products. I further indemnify and
hold harmless Nature’s Sunshine LifeTrends in respect
of any claims, liability, obligations, expenses or damage
arising out of any representation made by me in connection
with the advertising sale of any said products, and
to defend at my own expense any action brought in connection
with such a claim.
4. I understand that upon acceptance of my application,
I will be entitled to registration with Nature’s Sunshine
LifeTrends as a Member and will be entitled to active
membership subject to the conditions and benefits set
out in the Policies and Procedures Manual as amended
from time to time.
5. I understand that either party has the right to
cancel this agreement at any time on giving specified
notice as set forth in the Policies and Procedures Manual
as amended from time to time. Violation of any company
rule or regulation or any term of this agreement will
result in cancellation of my membership as set forth
in the Policies and Procedures Manual as amended from
time to time.
