JUNIPER BERRIES (100 caps)
(Juniperus communis).
Single herb (berries used).
400 mgs per capsule.
Recommended on the label: Two capsules with
a meal twice daily
Other ingredients: Gelatin
and water capsule.
Properties:
Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic Antifungal, Antiseptic, Aromatic,
Astringent, Carminative, Diaphoretic, Diuretic, Fumigant, Lipotropic,
Preservative, Stimulant, Stomachic, Vermifuge
Nutrients plus:
Chromium (high in), terpinene-4-ol Vit C, quercetin,
proanthocyanidins, volatile oil.
Nutrients for:
Urinary, fluid
retention, UTI, prostate enlargement, yeast and bacterial conditions.
Juniper is a ground hugging
conifer with dull green foliage and bronzing slightly in winter.
People grow these in their gardens as an ornamental shrub. The foliage
cascades like a waterfall.and the shrub carries berries in
different colours at the same time. and this is due to the very long
ripening process of the berries. (2 to 3 years)
This herb stimulates the action of the
kidneys, and so should not be taken by anyone with kidney diseases.
Common names: Dwarf Juniper,
Mountain Common Juniper, Old Field Common Juniper, Prostrate Juniper.
Precautions:
Do not use if you
have inflammation or disease in the kidneys.
Use for short
periods only, no longer than 6 weeks.
If you experience
diarrhoea, kidney or intestinal pain, blood in the urine, purple
tinged urine, high blood pressure or rapid heart beat, stop
immediately.
Not during
pregnancy or lactation.
Not for ladies who
suffer heavy menstrual bleeding.
If on any drugs
for any problem at all, check first to see if this herb is
compatible.
