ECHINACEA PURPUREA (180
capsules) (Echinacea purpurea).
Single herb (root used).
450 mgs per capsule.
Recommended on the label:
2 capsules with a meal 3 times daily as
needed.
Other ingredients: Kosher
gelatin and water, Magnesium stearate (vegetable), silicon dioxide
(powdered silica).
Properties: Alterative,
Anti-allergenic, Antibacterial, Anti-inflammatory, Antiseptic,
Antitoxic, Antivenomous, Antiviral, Detoxifying, Febrifuge, Immune
Stimulant, Lymphatic, Tonic, Vulnerary.

Echinacea is much more
effective used as necessary, when needed, rather than a daily dose
long term, although some do swear by a small dose daily long term.
Commonly known as "cone flower"
it has a beautiful pinkish/purpley flower that turns backwards
exposing the center, and makes a lovely display in home gardens. A
perennial.
It is considered to be very safe and is
widely used as nutrition for a wide range of external skin problems
and internal infections and viruses.

Precautions:
If used excessively it may cause
scratchy or tingly throat and excessive salivation.
If you have an auto immune disease, an
overactive immune system, do not use an immune stimulant such as
Echinacea.
If you have an allergy from daisies
then treat this one with caution.
If
pregnant or lactating seek advice first.. Not recommended during the
last month.
Can be used after delivery.
