BURDOCK (100 Capsules) (Arctium lappa).

Single herb (dried powdered root used).

360 mg per capsule.

Recommended on the label:

2 capsule with 2 meals daily while needed.

Other Ingredients: Magnesium stearate (vegetable), silicon dioxide (powdered silica), kosher gelatin, and water.

Burdock is a common, very large weed with giant sized leaves, and the seeds are burrs that cling to clothes It is a European herb and is used both raw and cooked in the diets of many.

A simple herb with good effect and it works via the nutrients for elimination through the colon, kidneys, liver and skin. It is also good source of viscous fibre, helping to absorb toxins from the digestive and intestinal tract.

Burdock can be used as a poultice or a fomentation for various needs, or a hot soak to alleviate tired aching feet.

Precautions:

If you are allergic to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family, ie bitter weed, blanket flower, chrysanthemum, coltsfoot, daisy, dandelion, dwarf sunflower, goldenrod, marigold, prairie sage, ragweed, and others, then it is wise to avoid Burdock.
