Iron, chelated provides a form
of iron that’s usually well absorbed by
the body without the usual side effects
such as diarrhoea.
NSP has enhanced the iron with vitamin
C and calcium in a base of rose hips,
chickweed herb, mullein leaves, thyme herb
and yellow dock root.
Iron is used for making myoglobin
which is a supply of oxygen necessary
for muscle contractions. It is also nutrition
for maintaining haemoglobin, which is
the central molecule of red blood cells.
These red blood cells travel to the lungs
to pick up oxygen and deliver it to the
tissues. Without adequate iron these functions
may be impaired. Iron is also nutritionally involved in the metabolism of energy.
In my experience there were no bowel
disturbances in the use of this chelated
iron.
