Ingredients
Each 1 ml serving
(17-18 drops) contains:
Vitamin B1 (as
thiamine mononitrate) 0.50 mg Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 0.85 mg,
Niacin (as niacinamide) 10 mg, Vitamin B6 (as pyroxidine HCl) 1 mg,
Vitamin B12 (as cyanocobalamin) 1,000 mcg
Other
Ingredients Distilled water, sorbitol, vegetable glycerin,
natural flavors, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, malic acid,
potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate.
Vitamin B12 Complete
is a valuable way to take some of the B group in this easily absorbed
product.
The B group is so
important for the overall health of the various systems in the body
and deficiency can occur so easily when undergoing stress, where the
vitamin content in the diet is not enough to cope, or the vitamin
contest was utilised too fast because of the situation.
It is also water
soluble, so excess is drained away quickly. That is why we need to
replenish it regularly. This is quite different to the fat soluble
vitamins, such as Vit A, D and E, as they are stored in the liver and
we are capable of overdosing these..
With the B
vitamins usually the urine turns bright yellow/orange, and that is a
sign the excess is being eliminated, therefore. it is no use taking
larger amounts in the morning expecting it to provide the nutrients
all day as some products are capable of doing.
Cooking and
processing also destroys some of the vitamin content in food, so
eating raw vegetables and fruit is very helpful in maintaining our
vitamin content in our diet.
B12 is found in
some vegetables, broccoli being one of the higher sources, but it is
in abundance in meat. For those who don't eat meat you may be getting
ample of these vitamins though your diet, but there may be some who
are not. If you are stressed a lot, can't handle stress, this might
be a sign to supplement your diet with a good complete B complex.
It is good also,
if you decide to take one of the single Vit B's, such as Pantothenic
Acid (B50, it is also better to take it along with a comlete B group
to keep the balance.. eg..if one keeps taking one of the B group by
itself, it may cause a deficiency in one of the others in the B
group.
Eating yoghurt can
help maintain the balance as well as it contains the B complex
vitamins.
