Colostrum Factors plus is a passive immunity
product. Passive immunity is the transfer
of immunity as ready made anti-bodies from
one person to another. In this case it comes
from cow's milk. This is a high potency
product and contains transfer factors from
the milk. Transfer factors are immune molecules
that are made of amino acids.
The immune factors stimulate cytokines
which are key immunological
factors. Cytokines (Greek cyto = cell,
and kinos = movement) are any of a number
of small proteins that are secreted by specific
cells of the immune system and that carry
signals locally between cells.
Overall health of the gastrointestinal
system may be improved through the nutrition
that this product provides. This includes
the promotion of normal bowel function and
the maintenance of the intestinal lining.
It may also help boost muscle growth.
Colostrum (100% bovine) concentrate contains
25% immunoglobulins (high level IgG), specific
immune factors, and broad-based immune enhancers.

Contains:
Colostrum The foremilk produced by
mammals before the onset of lactation. (In
this case bovine sources).
Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6). Nutrition
to stimulate the immune system.
Maitake mushroom. Contains powerful
beta-glucan. (Beta glucans are sugars that
are found in the cell walls of bacteria,
fungi, yeasts, algae, lichens, and plants,
such as oats and barley).
Shiitake mushroom. Naturally stimulates macrophages.
(a macrophage is a large white blood
cell occurring principally in connective
tissue and in the bloodstream, that ingests
foreign particles and infectious microorganisms
by the action of phagocytosis).
Astragalus. Immune system. Nutrients
to enhance the production
of immunoglobulin and help stimulate macrophages.
