Chromium GTF provides chromium which
is the central atom in the “glucose tolerance
factor” (GTF).
GTF works with insulin to transport glucose
from the blood into body cells, regulating
blood sugar levels.
In this way it helps to maintain sugar
levels already in the normal range, promote
energy by this transportation, works along
with insulin to do the task more efficiently
thus cutting back the need for too much
insulin and assists the control of fatty
acids and glucose.
This product cuts down on the body's
need for insulin, which
may result in improved arterial health.
Each “glucose tolerance factor” (GTF)
molecule is a hormone-like compound
requiring chromium as its central atom.
The liver also needs chromium to manufacture
fatty acids, lecithin, cholesterol and lipoproteins
so it is an important trace mineral in our
diets. Chromium may positively affect blood
fat levels and the liver filtration process.
Processing destroys much of the chromium
content in foods so this is another reason
to eat as many unprocessed foods as possible.
